- Trained to work as a software engineer with AI tools: generative AI fundamentals, prompt engineering and responsible use, building with Node.js.
- Participated in a development team that built AI chatbots and three web applications: MyCapePlanner, AI Content Studio and ReviewLens.
- Followed Agile processes throughout, with daily stand-ups and sprint reviews, under mentorship and supervision.
- Earned Google AI Essentials through the programme.

A personal finance and credit-health tracker. Upload a bank statement PDF or a photo of a receipt and it extracts, categorizes and de-duplicates the transactions, then tracks budgets and credit utilization.

- Account numbers, ID numbers and names are removed before any AI provider sees the data.
- Accuracy
- Both extraction pipelines are scored on precision, recall and hallucination rate.

- Every total and credit figure is computed in code. The AI only writes the commentary.

- 237 backend tests and 101 browser tests.

I'm in the final year of my Diploma in ICT: Application Development at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, and I live in Cape Town.
Outside of tech I build LEGO sets and solve puzzles. Both taught me patience and attention to detail, and I bring that to every project I work on.
